DELL may shrink its network of factories

DELL Inc is trying to sell computer factories around the world in efforts to cut cost and improve profitability. in recent years DELL has approached contract computer manufacturers with offers to sell the plants.
At the end of last month DELL disappointed its investors by reporting a 17% fall in quarterly profit even though its sales increased by 11%. DELL blamed the profit drop mainly on being too aggressive in price cutting to gain market share in some regions of world.
